Taynie supports nature and species conservation projects
Sustainability, species protection and climate protection are major issues today. As a company that is committed to sustainability and the protection of raw materials, Taynie sees itself as having a duty to take responsibility. In particular, the manufacturer of sustainable period underwear has nature conservation right on its doorstep in mind. Taynie regularly donates part of its proceeds to NABU, Leverkusen-Cologne Nature Conservation Station, thereby supporting two projects that are particularly dear to the company's heart: the preservation of orchards and thus also the protection of the habitat of the endangered little owl, and the preservation of the habitat of the green toad.

The NABU has been working to protect nature and species with its Leverkusen-Cologne nature conservation station since 2012. In addition to looking after nature reserves, the dedicated employees are also responsible for recording changes in flora and fauna. Taynie regularly donates part of his proceeds to two projects:
1. Preservation of the orchard and protection of the habitat of the endangered little owl
The meadow orchard offers space for a remarkable variety of species, teeming with life of all kinds. Pesticides and mineral fertilizers destroy this variety of life. A method of cultivation that protects nature without the use of chemical fertilizers is one possible strategy that the NABU is pursuing. The little owl, one of our native owl species, feels particularly at home in the old cultural landscape of the meadow orchard. Maintaining and preserving it means protecting its habitat. In order to look after the existing stocks and to maintain and plant younger orchards, the nature conservation organization relies on donations. Taynie supports this.
2. Conservation of the habitat of the green toad
Ten of 18 amphibian species are in an endangered category in the NRW Red List. Four of the endangered species, such as the green-bellied squirrel, are found in the Cologne and Leverkusen area.In order to protect the habitat of the European green toad, which is disappearing in the Cologne urban area, the NABU nature conservation station is promoting urgent species protection measures and regularly records the population of the animals.
Why Taynie supports NABU
Taynie and NABU are jointly committed to nature conservation. As a company, Taynie sees itself as having a special responsibility to use resources not only economically, but also ecologically. Period underwear is sustainable and protects the environment. It is not just a symbol, but also an important step in the right direction: conserving resources in everyday life and relieving the burden on the environment (and thus also the habitat for humans and animals). The manufacturer of period underwear sees keeping an eye on donations in the region as an important task. In addition to the nature conservation projects, the company is happy about the implementation of other social projects that it has been supporting for a long time. For example, Taynie works with pro familia and women's shelters, with midwives and teachers. Thanks to her large network, she is increasingly bringing the topic of sustainable menstrual hygiene products into the public spotlight.
Sustainability begins in everyday life. Supporting social and ecological projects is a matter close to Taynie's heart.
