How do we come to this conclusion?

An average cycle lasts 28days If one woman has her period every day and we assume that each period lasts about a week, each woman has her period with five to seven other women.

This corresponds to a quarter to a fifth of the 28 women.

Which factors influence the result?

The length of each cycle and the duration of bleeding are just two reasons. If you take into account women who do not have periods due to premature menopause, illness or other circumstances, you probably arrive at a figure of one fifth of women in industrialized countries who bleed.

This calculation may not be 100 percent accurate. We want to show that no woman has to feel alone during her period.
