What is the significance of May 28th?

In May 2013, there was a social media campaign that reached 28days and was titled "May #MENSTRAVAGANZA ". It was intended to raise awareness of the issue of menstruation and to address the everyday problems faced by women in developing countries.

The first official Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated in May 2014 and has since been an important day for various organizations to raise awareness of the need for effective menstrual hygiene management (MHM).

It is no longer a secret that there are major deficits in menstrual hygiene products in the developing countries of the world.

Unfortunately, there are still women in Western countries who have little or no access to high-quality menstrual hygiene products.

Every year, Menstrual Hygiene Day is intended to raise awareness and create opportunities to solve problems.

There are now more than 400 partners, including well-known organizations such as Plan International and UNICEF, who fight every year for a comprehensive supply of menstrual hygiene products for all women in the world.
